The Utility Field Services Division of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Power Enterprise is the construction and maintenance division responsible for all electric distribution, substations, street lights, and gas distribution facilities owned by the City of San Francsico. The Maintenance Planning Manager oversees the Maintenance Planning group which is responsible for short- and long-term work planning for the Utility Field Services division within Power Enterprise. The Manager also analyzes the division's budgetary needs on a 10-year plan, cooperates with the Asset Management group so all construction projects are reflected properly in GIS, and controls the division's inspection program to ensure all projects meet city and state standards, such as General Order 95.
