About The Position

As an expert, you will bring deep technical mastery of processes and equipment to lead the planning, process development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements within a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. This role involves managing teams of various technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operations personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Partner & Enable the line leader(s) to deliver the SQCDSM targets-Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability & Morale for the lines, to ensure Process stability
  • Participate in the DMS- Daily Management systems meetings at the shift and line level
  • Own the technology and process and centerline settings for the equipment and process and have deep technical mastery of the process and equipment
  • Own the PM-Progressive maintenance systems and work processes and the PM-Progressive Maintenance Key Performance Indicators for the line/s along with Centerline Management systems
  • Own the R&M-Repairs & Maintenance budget of the line
  • Develop, own and execute the line/s preventive and time-based maintenance systems and plans and build capability of the team to execute themselves
  • Build technical and maintenance skills of the technicians working in the shifts, so that they are able to operate and maintain their equipment themselves (spends at least 50% of time)
  • Be part of the PM Pillar, own all PM systems and work process at the line level and lead some of them at the department level
  • Partner with the Asset and Reliability team for system improvement and execution of special maintenance tasks
  • Be responsible for Change Management on the line/s, localization of spares and proper break-down analysis and R&M cost reduction for the line/s
  • Represent the department/line/s as the site technology owner in the regional and global technology forums
  • Assist in VSU for the new initiatives and enable the VSU team
  • Help the line leader in internal and external benchmarking and reapplication
  • Be the subject matter expert on one of the component categories and be a trainer of PM related subjects for the plant
  • Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed
  • Ensure all required internal controls and financial protocols are followed
  • Compile and provide reports related to areas of responsibility, effectively document required maintenance in an efficient and organized manner
  • Support and develop specifications, standards, and codes for CMMS
  • Lead the maintenance planning and scheduling planning meetings with all the cross functional teams, providing the necessary data on planned work and required work
  • Assign necessary maintenance work orders (WO) to allow for the proper scheduling of work during planned & unplanned equipment downtime
  • Provide optimized maintenance plans and schedules for predictive, preventive, routine, scheduled, and emergency maintenance services to optimize equipment operation
  • Lead the implementation of the required systems to enhance the maintenance system by following the guidelines of our integrated lean six sigma (IL6S) program
  • Complete the required assessments for the planned work to be completed to the correct standard and expectation
  • Consult with requester and all the required functions, as necessary
  • Create and maintain the maintenance work backlog, from all sources of data by raising work orders for all equipment defects that are identified and reported
  • Confirm that proper materials, tools, and parts are kitted and staged before jobs are scheduled
  • Maintain, communicate, and drive actions based on key activity indicators (KAIs) as well as key performance indicators (KPI) as assigned
  • Assist in reviewing predictive maintenance data to determine component life and change out frequencies
  • Support the request and purchase order process for maintenance services, parts, repairs, and other goods and services as needed
  • Work closely with plant engineering and maintenance leadership teams to ensure that necessary planned and unplanned parts are available for facility maintenance activities
