About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Support the safety and health goals and objectives of Canyon Fuel Company, LLC. Develop and manage executable maintenance schedules. Verify availability of parts and update Bill of Materials (BOM). Maintain accurate equipment hierarchies. Create and update Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks and Planning Routing Templates (PRTs). Manage maintenance backlog and coordinate parts ordering, tracking, and warehousing. Own and continuously improve the planning and scheduling process. Facilitate weekly planning meetings, including tentative scheduling and KPI review. Develop and maintain a 3-month downtime forecast. Follow shutdown planning protocols and develop detailed task plans. Provide feedback and analysis on work orders. Support continuous improvement in maintenance process efficiencies, loss control, and cost reduction. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma required; technical college or equivalent training in maintenance preferred. Minimum five years of experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in a mining environment. Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor, planner, or craftsman preferred. Familiarity with SAP and maintenance management systems. Intermediate computer proficiency including MS Office. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of plant fixed and mobile equipment. Knowledge of MSHA CFRs. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Proven ability to build positive working relationships and influence team performance
