About The Position

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler is the owner of the scheduling process, which consists of the physical scheduling and coordination of all available resources, communication and tracking interface with area leads, engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, purchasing, and contractors to assure efficient work order completion. This position must have thorough knowledge of plant/mill operations and cost/time required for all types of maintenance work. The successful candidate must be familiar with process improvement and be responsible for conducting meetings and efforts towards reliability improvement.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Must have thorough knowledge of safe practices, plant/mill operations and cost/time required for all types of maintenance work
  • Ability to estimate maintenance jobs showing sequence of steps, number of crafts persons, man-hours and material
  • Five or more years proven experience in continuous-process industry in maintenance, maintenance planning, maintenance leadership, or associated role
  • Excellent ability to facilitate and coordinate meetings and assignment completion across departments and levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates capability to set priorities on multiple job assignments and understands impacts on business
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, conflict-resolution, and written/oral communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of SAP, Crystal, CAD, Excel, Word, MS Project
  • Excellent understanding of mill processes to include process reliability (i.e., Value Proposition and Value Delivery Systems)

  • Responsible for the process of planning and scheduling of all maintenance for all production process areas and ensuring accountability of goals and objectives of team.
  • Receives and reviews each work order for completeness, validity of the priority, clarity and accuracy of information
  • Interfaces with and establishes positive relationships with operations and maintenance personnel to continuously improve mill operations
  • Tracking and follow up of work orders to ensure timely and accurate completion of planned work

Benefits

  • Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $63,828-$95,670 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5%25 of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

  • Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours and paid parental leave for all full-time employees.
