Responsibilities Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance plans for equipment and facilities. Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes. Maintain records of maintenance activities, including reports on machine downtime, open work orders and other items impacting service to the operations teams. Monitor inventory of maintenance repair parts and tools to ensure items are available when needed. Coordinate outside vendors when needed for machine or facility repair. Prepare and place Purchase requests for the maintenance team, working closely with purchasing to ensure delivery and receipt of needed parts and tools. Skills Strong time management skills with coordinating work tickets or maintenance schedules. Proficient in the use of CMMS software for effective maintenance management. Excellent skills within a team environment focused collaboration and communication. Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred. Ability to prioritize work based on critical factors like machine downtime, impact to operations and production needs.
