We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner III to join our aviation maintenance planning department. The Maintenance Planners will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective scheduling and execution of maintenance activities. These roles involve configuration management, maintenance program development, technical task card writing, project management skills for master schedule building, work flow creation and management, and record auditing. A preferred skill for these positions is an A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Aviation Maintenance, Engineering, or similar discipline or related field of study and typically 6+ years of relevant experience
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and optimization of aircraft maintenance programs.
  • Oversee the creation and revision of technical task cards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in tracking and scheduling routine and non-routine maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely availability of resources and parts.
  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage and verify configuration management records and updates.
  • Develop and implement efficient maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Coordinate complex maintenance activities and projects, ensuring resource availability and timely completion.
  • Analyze maintenance performance data and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Develop and oversee master schedules and work flows for large-scale maintenance projects.
  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Mentor and train lower-level maintenance planners.
  • Lead and participate in audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
  • Conduct comprehensive record auditing and ensure adherence to all compliance standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Planning Manager.
