About The Position

The Maintenance Planner/Administrator supports operational efficiency by managing work order processes, preventive maintenance scheduling, documentation, and reporting functions. This role supports process coordination and documentation functions and does not assume operational decision-making authority outside assigned scope.

Requirements

  • Strong vendor/contractor management skills
  • Effective communication and cross-departmental collaboration
  • Experience in facility maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ownership mentality and a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety and equipment operations
  • Understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
  • Reliable transportation and commitment to meeting project deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
  • Manage work order intake, prioritization, and tracking
  • Maintain CMMS documentation and asset records
  • Coordinate vendor scheduling and documentation
  • Track completion status of maintenance activities
  • Maintain service logs and inspection records
  • Support compliance documentation and audit preparation
