About The Position

Responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing parts within the maintenance department.

Requirements

  • Individual must have an understanding of mechanical parts and/or processes.
  • Successful candidates must be detail focused, have strong organizational and communication skills and be proficient with Microsoft Suite along with general office skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue spare and replacement parts, equipment, and expendable items used in repair and maintenance.
  • Maintain parts inventory, including stocking shelves, organizing bins, binning new parts and recording the location.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Utilize CMMS to issue, return, and process parts/tooling from stock.
  • Monitor and track parts that are out of stock.
  • Communicate with maintenance technicians to identify necessary parts and equipment.
  • Inspect delivered parts and compare with invoices to ensure correctness of order.
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties such as filing and managing paperwork
  • Adhere to all government and company safety, sanitation and GMP policies and regulations. Adhere to Food Safety, Quality and SQF Codes.
