About The Position

The Maintenance Operations Support Specialist is critically important to our growth and success. The Maintenance Operations Support Specialist will serve as the primary purchasing and inventory subject matter expert. They will provide timely and effective support in researching, negotiating, and procuring all required inventory to support the maintenance function. They will be responsible for providing additional support to other teams, as needed.

Requirements

1-3 years of purchasing experience or equivalent
Knowledge and experience in Inventory control
Proven organizational skills
Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

Implement multiple sourcing options for parts and services: email, e-Maint, phone calls
Order supplies and manage inventory, coordinating with accounting and finance departments to adhere to budget
Purchase and track orders to include communication of delivery and placement in inventory location (end to end)
Processing Invoices - verifying against PO's and account coding invoices for items purchased through maintenance
Continuously working to identify and qualify new vendors and parts availability
Set up new vendors for parts and services using our CMMS and Vendor portal systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for relevant documentation regarding purchasing orders
Ensure timely, smooth start up and initial on-boarding of new vendor accounts
Inventory Control functions, including physical parts audits, adjustments, researching/resolving inventory discrepancies, reporting
Other duties as assigned
