About The Position

Keep Systems Running — Join EPCOR as a Maintenance Operator I, II, or III . Are you ready to take on a hands-on role that keeps essential water treatment systems operating at peak performance? EPCOR is hiring full-time, a permanent Maintenance in the Clovis, NM area . This is your chance to work in a 24/7/365 facility and make a real impact on community infrastructure. What You’ll Do: Maintain pumps, piping, tanks, valves, switches, and diesel generators at groundwater treatment plants, well sites, booster stations, and reservoirs. Perform operations, maintenance, and control work on water treatment plant equipment, including chemical systems and pressure control valves. Replace pump packing and mechanical seals; repair hydrostatic drives for pumps; troubleshoot air compressors, HVAC systems, and vacuum pumps. Maintain advanced water treatment equipment such as Reverse Osmosis, Ultrafiltration Skids, and Cold Lime Softening systems. Install and repair piping, valves, and other components of water treatment plants. Perform rounds and record accurate readings from well sites. Conduct construction and fabrication tasks at the facility. Operate equipment such as cranes, forklifts, trenchers, bucket-lifts, and dump trucks. Maintain landscaping and ensure facility upkeep. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of related experience in field maintenance, water or wastewater plant maintenance, or mechanical maintenance.
  • Experience with mechanical maintenance and repair of pumps, compressors, engines, and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of water systems and associated maintenance requirements.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in CMMS for completing work orders and inspection tasks.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness and ability to expand knowledge in maintenance operations and equipment use.
  • Minimum of o ne year of experience in water pump operations or water distribution/water reclamation systems. HS Diploma or GED. Must have a Valid NM Driver's license, Class D .
  • Minimum of t wo years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair involving pumps, valves, and motors in an industrial setting. Grade 1 certification in appropriate area for water or wastewater. HS Diploma or GED. Must have a Valid NM Driver's license, Class D
  • Minimum of f our years of water, wastewater or industrial maintenance experience. Must be able to demonstrate welding ability with steel piping and fabrication; welding certification preferred. Grade 2 certification in water or wastewater treatment. HS Diploma or GED. Must have a Valid NM Driver's license, Class D

Nice To Haves

  • TCEQ Class D water license preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to demonstrate welding ability with steel piping and fabrication; welding certification preferred.
