The Maintenance Multi-Skilled Tech role primarily focuses on Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) systems. This involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all plant electrical, control, and instrumentation systems, including level transmitters, switches, probes, temperature transmitters, hazard monitoring systems, 24 V DC control circuits, and 4–20 mA analog loops. The position also requires diagnosing and repairing all electrical systems and components, and servicing VFDs, electric motors, MCCs, PLCs, electrical power distribution equipment, and turbine electrical controls. Installation of electrical components like conduit, wiring, panels, and lighting systems is also part of the role. Mechanical responsibilities include performing repairs and maintenance on mechanical systems and production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues, and maintaining tools and parts. Operational and safety responsibilities involve partnering with plant operations for safe task completion, notifying supervisors of issues, adhering to SOPs, safety rules, environmental requirements, and GMP guidelines, making minor operational adjustments, maintaining equipment knowledge, applying root cause analysis, completing safety training, strictly following LOTO procedures, and accurately completing work orders. The role also includes performing preventive maintenance, supporting capital improvement projects, coordinating PM activities, assisting team members, identifying improvement opportunities, participating in company programs, assisting with piping and welding, and maintaining various LDC equipment, including packaging machines, conveyors, and sugar feed systems. The position requires working during scheduled shutdowns and overtime as needed.
