About The Position

Maintenance Mechanic Availability on 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift (8 hour Shifts) $40 p/h Manufacturing / Recycling facility Chapel Glen, IN (West Indianapolis) Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability Key Responsibilities: Perform corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems using technical documentation, schematics, and drawings. Install new plant machinery and perform mechanical and fabrication work as needed. Repair and maintain pumps, piping systems, gearboxes, conveyors, and other process equipment. Perform stick welding, steel fabrication, repairs, and modifications to support plant operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and site-specific safety programs. Promote and enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards across all activities. Support other maintenance and production needs as assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of recent industrial maintenance, millwright, or machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Ability to use computer systems for maintenance documentation or work orders (CMMS experience a plus).
