Responsibilities

  • Required to service and repair equipment and machinery ( laundry , environmental services, food service, central service nursing service , medical gas equipment, etc ).
  • Required to change bulbs, ballasts and other related electrical duties.
  • Required to assist other trades when required. ( plumber, hvac, electrician, painter, carpenter or boiler room attendant.
  • Required to clean up any mess incurred while performing a job and clean shop on a rotating basis.
  • Required to adhere to all policies and procedures along with maintaining MSDS book..
  • Required to locate parts and pricing, pick up if required, restock if needed.
  • Recycles all recyclable material when possible
  • Performs any other jobs assigned.
  • Helps set up at hospital events ( after hours and some week-ends).
  • Drive large truck, tractor, pick-up trucks, golf carts and fork truck.
  • Required computer knowledge.
  • Snow and ice removal is required.
