Responsibilities

Required to service and repair equipment and machinery ( laundry , environmental services, food service, central service nursing service , medical gas equipment, etc ).
Required to change bulbs, ballasts and other related electrical duties.
Required to assist other trades when required. ( plumber, hvac, electrician, painter, carpenter or boiler room attendant.
Required to clean up any mess incurred while performing a job and clean shop on a rotating basis.
Required to adhere to all policies and procedures along with maintaining MSDS book..
Required to locate parts and pricing, pick up if required, restock if needed.
Recycles all recyclable material when possible
Performs any other jobs assigned.
Helps set up at hospital events ( after hours and some week-ends).
Drive large truck, tractor, pick-up trucks, golf carts and fork truck.
Required computer knowledge.
Snow and ice removal is required.
