About The Position
Full Time Days Position Summary: Provides quality maintenance support of the facilities, utilities, and equipment components in support of the hospital-wide Safety and Utility Management Program. This position requires knowledge of general engineering maintenance in a hospital environment. Must be able to read, interpret and follow policies and procedures pertaining to plant operations in a professional manner. Must be able to perform verbal and written interaction with fellow employees and other departments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of working with hand and power tools.
- Must maintain a valid Florida driver's license and be subject to policy "Facility Owned Vehicles, Employee Owned Vehicles Guidelines"
Nice To Haves
- Technical school training certificate
- 5 Years trade experience, 2 years' hospital setting preferred
