About The Position
This is a Building Maintenance Mechanic position at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, focusing on general building repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility upkeep. You'll be responsible for maintaining mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while ensuring airport facilities remain operational and safe.
Requirements
- Valid state driver's license (if mobile position)
- Ability to complete required safety trainings
- Experience with CMMS systems (360 Facility preferred)
- Knowledge of general building maintenance practices
- Ability to perform defensive driving
- Compliance with hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal policies

- Perform vehicle safety inspections (if mobile position)
- Assist operations team with building and equipment maintenance
- Escalate problems to customers and management promptly
- Attend work and safety meetings as required
Responsibilities
- Complete repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and equipment
- Conduct assigned inspections and report conditions affecting client occupancy and operations
- Interior maintenance including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture and doors
- Clean coils, change filters and belts, replace lighting and ballasts
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and materials as requested
- Update work order status in real time using CMMS systems (360 Facility), submit P-card receipts daily
- Complete hazard assessments, follow safety procedures, maintain work area safety
- Perform vehicle safety inspections (if mobile position)
- Assist operations team with building and equipment maintenance
- Escalate problems to customers and management promptly
- Attend work and safety meetings as required
