About The Position

We are looking for a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC to join our Gaston, SC location. As a Maintenance Mechanic with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will work as part of a team to keep equipment running through maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1–year of mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience operating mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Good organizational and math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting.
• Troubleshoot, dismantle, repair, and reassemble mechanical equipment.
• Conduct preventive inspections and document findings.
• Maintain safe work areas and operate mobile equipment as needed.
