About The Position
Under general supervision and following the appropriate GMP’s the employee performs various Maintenance Mechanic assignments using supervisor or other higher-level technician as guidance to perform daily assigned tasks.
Requirements
- High School/ G.E.D
- Minimum 1 year to 4 years’ experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)
Nice To Haves
- Industrial Mechanical Technician Certification is a plus (Not required)
- Industrial Electrical Technician Certification is a plus (Not required)
Responsibilities
- Intermediate electrical knowledge (120/220/480)
- Ability to troubleshoot (Mechanical Conveyors and/or Ovens)
- Experienced with motor controls.
- Proficient in standard and metric tools.
- Intermediate ability to identify and repair conveyors and ovens.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC.
- Understands and adheres to established safety programs.
- Communicates effectively at all levels in the maintenance and operating departments.
- Provides rapid response when equipment malfunctions or breaks down.
- Proper and safe use of hand and power tools and working on machinery.
