About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degrees in mechanical engineering or related fields preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic, with at least 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, especially within the Oil & Energy sector.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools for tracking maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members and other departments.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring a safe workplace for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies that enhance equipment reliability and performance.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical issues across various industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and rectify potential maintenance concerns before they escalate.
