About The Position

Performs general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical electrical, plumbing and other items. This position is Mission Essential personnel at SNGH. Must live within 30 minutes of SNGH campus. Must be able to work rotating shift, rotating weekends and be on-call as required. This position is assigned to the Pipe Shop Support other Facility Shops as required

Requirements

Must live within 30 minutes of SNGH campus
Must be able to work rotating shift, rotating weekends and be on-call as required
Must have a VA or NC Drivers License
High School Diploma or equivalent
Trade School Certification/Licensure
Valid VA or NC Drivers License (In good standing)
2-3 years of Maintenance experience
Commercial preferred
Ability to assist with other Facility Shops (Electric/HVAC, Plumbing, etc)

Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance on building structure and systems
Works on floors, walls, ceilings, lighting, HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
Supports the Pipe Shop and other Facility Shops as required
Works rotating shifts and weekends
Is on-call as required
