The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, repair and installation of manufacturing equipment. They will lead a team of maintenance & tooling technicians. They will coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and communicate status of ongoing activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lead a team of maintenance technicians/personnel across multiple shifts Assists with the hiring or maintenance personnel Creates training plans for maintenance personnel to build skills and foster employee development Actively engages with other site leaders to access, troubleshoot, and plan for repairs of site operational equipment and processes Plans, schedules, and provides follow up of equipment downtime Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions. Create, modify, and execute on a plant Preventative Maintenance (PM) plan, with long term goal of achieving Predictive Maintenance (PDM) Creates, assigns, and schedules work orders to maintenance personnel while follow up to ensure completeness to company standards Participates in daily shift meetings, prioritizes and reviews work orders and emergency tasks. Directs, maintains, and enforces the Safety Program for the Maintenance Department; reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all Maintenance Technicians. Supervise and schedule daily operations for the Maintenance Department employees to meet planned goals and respond effectively to emergencies. Adhere to all safety programs and policies. Day to day trouble shooting, repair, and installation of low and high voltage industrial electromechanical and control systems for production equipment. Maintain and repair machines such as CNC, Non-CNC, manual and automated equipment. Ability to troubleshoot CNC electronics, electrical control systems, hydraulic systems, and PLCs. (Direct Soft, Control Logix) Diagnose cause, malfunction, or failure of production equipment and perform corrective and Preventative Maintenance. Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as required by PM program within the guidelines of ISO standards and electrical standards. Work independently in troubleshooting and repair problems with Programmable Logic Controllers and related components when required. Assist in system startups and operational checkouts on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, grounding, and power testing. Maintain required documentation and files for equipment. This should include all prints and detailed information needed to document that equipment is properly maintained. Maintain the parts and material replenishment process for equipment repair in order to reduce/minimize down time of production. Communicate essential information to Operations and Plant Leadership Adhere to all 5S responsibilities to create a safe environment for all Associates.
