About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance and repair function. As a vertically integrated food production business, this is a critical role to ensure maximum up time on equipment availability and facility upkeep. Requirements

5 + years of maintenance and repair experience in a food manufacturing facility.
Proven experience servicing Multivac thermoforming packaging machines.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing maintenance teams.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations for manufacturing facilities.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with service providers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the facility and equipment maintenance function.
Provide hands-on maintenance and servicing of thermoforming packaging machines, with a primary focus on Multivac.
Ability to perform minor repairs on HVAC, plumbing, and air compressor systems as needed.
Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for all machines to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Serve as the primary liaison with facility service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
Lead and train a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, implementing best practices in equipment maintenance.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and facility operations.
