About The Position

The Summit Resort is nestled in scenic Laconia, New Hampshire—just 15 minutes from Tilton and Belmont, and moments from Lake Winnipesaukee. This premier resort features four guest room buildings, a variety of indoor and outdoor amenities, and beautifully maintained pools available for employee use. Join a dedicated team of both new and experienced professionals in our Maintenance department while enjoying all that the Lakes Region has to offer. Sign-on Bonus: $1000.00 for Full Time Position

Requirements

2–5 years of maintenance experience required
2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Strong knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
Understanding of safety practices and procedures
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Strong time management skills with attention to detail
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions effectively
Typical schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, first shift

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment, systems, and facilities are fully operational through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and adherence to established procedures
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report recommended improvements
Preserve the appearance and accessibility of the property by removing debris, clearing snow, painting, and maintaining surrounding grounds
Respond to special requests, including moving furniture, transporting materials, and preparing rooms for occupancy
Perform general repairs to guest rooms and common areas
Maintain lighting systems, including bulbs, ballasts, and electrical fixtures
Install and repair plumbing systems and related components
Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with all safety standards and regulations
Stay current with industry best practices through training and technical resources
Contribute to departmental success by taking initiative and supporting additional operational needs
Oversee scheduling, direction, coordination, and performance of Maintenance staff
Provide leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to team members
Ensure departmental goals and service standards are consistently met
Perform additional duties as assigned
