About The Position

Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team! Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Lenox at Bloomingdale, our 240-unit luxury residential community in Riverview, FL 33578 (U.S. 301 and Bloomingdale Ave) What we offer: Day time schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00pm, weekend on-call rotation is required Excellent base-pay, quarterly pay increases Fantastic array of Employee benefits programs, Paid Sick Time (PST), paid Holiday's and much more! Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purpose

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not qualified

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely completion
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act
  • Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment
  • Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner
  • Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development
  • Assist in property preventative maintenance plan
  • Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime
