About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Helper & Driver to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you'll support both our Maintenance and Production departments by performing various maintenance tasks, ensuring facility upkeep, and driving company vehicles for errands and material pickups. Requirements

Skills & Abilities: Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs. Willingness to learn and apply new skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Education & Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required at minimum. 3 to 6 months of relevant groundskeeping, facilities maintenance experience and/or training is preferred but may not be required with the right combination of skills, traits and aptitude.
Driving Skills: Highly preferred! Be able to safely and effectively maneuver a work truck of 18-20 feet in length through narrow streets and parking lots. Experience with hauling or towing a trailer is also a plus.
Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to understand and follow simple instructions and effectively communicate with supervisors and team members.
Mathematical Skills: Must have basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages and decimals).
Reasoning Ability: Must have the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and solve problems independently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, and kneel. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 70 pounds on occasion. Must have good vision, including close vision, distance vision, and depth perception, with or without corrective lenses.
Certification/License Requirements: Forklift certification required - must be able to become forklift certified by AGM. Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, be at least 19 years old, and have a clean driving record (no violations in the last 6 months). Must provide a certified copy of your driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles.
DRUG AND NICOTINE SCREEN/TEST REQUIREMENT : Any job offer is contingent on the candidate successfully passing a drug and nicotine screening.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or status as a U.S. Person as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)). Please note that this is an on-site role, and remote work arrangements are not available. Candidates must be willing and able to work at our facility during designated working hours.

Responsibilities

Grounds Maintenance: Maintain facility grounds by trimming, raking, weeding, and watering plants. Keep common areas clean and organized.
Facility Upkeep: Perform minor electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, repairing faucets, changing air filters, and painting.
Production Support: Assist with operating production machinery or perform manual tasks based on the company’s production schedule.
Driving & Errands: Drive a company vehicle to pick up materials, supplies, and employees as needed. Safely handle transportation tasks including picking up visitors or making deliveries, handling Costco runs and other errands.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and ISO procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Timeliness: Maintain a strong record of attendance and punctuality. Complete tasks efficiently and on time.
Additional Duties: Assist with other duties as assigned by management in various departments.
