About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday. Position requires standing approximately 8.5 hours/day on concrete floor. Position requires pushing, pulling or lifting over 40 lbs. and climbing ladders above 10 feet. Position requires being a member of the Plant Hazmat Team. Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system. Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks. Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants. Applicants must have at least 6 months’ industrial maintenance experience or be a recent graduate from an accredited school for industrial maintenance. Must have a minimum of (6) months of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program or resume. Must list your work experience in the work experience section of the application or upload a resume.
