About The Position

The maintenance performs resort maintenance activities relating to the organization's physical property as directed by department Team Leaders. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the Casino operations at all times and in all activities. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers of the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino operations. Develop solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority. Complete daily postings and balance daily accounts. Follow job orders to determine tasks. Repair, maintain and install machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous operations. Maintain utility systems to ensure continuous supply of heat, electrical power, gas, refrigeration or air as required by operations. Follow preventive maintenance program in conjunction with all relevant departments. Inform Team Leader regarding any problems with the operation of machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards. Approach all encounters with guests, vendors and team members in a friendly, professional manner. Complete and turn in all maintenance request forms from guests as needed. Perform general maintenance, mechanical, electrical, machine, equipment and plumbing repairs and/or installations as needed. Implement energy conservation program as assigned by Team Leader. Maintain a neat and organized work area at all times. Effectively manage time and meet or exceed productivity standards Adhere to all QBRC Personnel Policies and Procedures, Title 97 Policy, and HR Standard Operating Procedures. Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year maintenance experience, or twelve (12) months related experience and or/training or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Basic knowledge of general maintenance in these categories; electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
  • Knowledge of mechanical operations of a large building complex.
  • Must be physically capable of moving about on QBRC property, sometimes in adverse conditions.
  • Ability to work on own and with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public, vendors and team members.
  • Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License and must be able to be insured through our company insurance.
