About The Position

To improve workforce productivity through improved equipment availability and reliability by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and materials, and equipment access. Plan, monitor and update effective and efficient maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of the equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of High School Diploma but prefer advanced degree
  • Mechanical background in automotive, machine repair or service technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform production equipment repair & modifications with the use of hand tools, power tools and other handheld tooling.
  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints.
  • Create Machine Trees and break down machines to the component level.
  • Maintain inventories for spare parts, tooling and supplies.
  • Assist the maintenance department in implementing maintenance plans. Execute these plans operationally through the CMMS and factory resources.
  • Maintain and analyze data on equipment maintenance, KPIs, and historical records to propose improvements. Identify, recommend, and execute solutions to chronic or costly problems.
  • Offer advice and technical support to maintenance and production operations including technical and digitalization solutions.
  • Perform technology upgrades to enhance the reliability of company assets. Implement a Condition Monitoring strategic project at full factory scale.
  • Support and help develop the Preventive and Autonomous Maintenance program.
  • Responsible for management of work order records and essential files for meaningful analysis of maintenance-related activity performance.
  • Update PM routines and standard job plans based on learnings from Breakdown root cause investigations
  • Measure and Analysis the efficiency and effectiveness of the maintenance program through maintenance performance indicators.
  • To develop and monitor Maintenance Excellence Deployment activities with the Maintenance Manager.
  • To support the training of SKF Maintenance Excellence Deployment principles, methods, and Subject Matter Expert development amongst the maintenance organization
  • Ability to write detailed job plans
  • Strong Computer Skills – MS Office tools.
  • Operate Fork Trucks
  • Other assigned tasks
