About The Position
We are currently seeking a Maintenance / Engineer to join our team! Responsibilities: Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain material and supply inventory Be ready and quick with your knowledge and experience to ensure guest safety and comfort and a safe environment critical to fellow associates. Great team player / assisting with other departments Maintain Records and logs Respond swiftly and effectively to every emergency that arises during your shift. Respond swiftly and effectively to every crisis that occurs while on call. Help keep the mechanical areas safe, orderly, and clean and maintain legible, orderly records Cleaning the pool Previous Hotel / Apartment experience is a plus Provide shuttle service to our guests when needed during your shift. Be prepared to complete special projects whenever asked
Requirements
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Good understanding of wall painting and drywall repair
- Basic knowledge of electrical repair and fixture installation
- Familiarity with AC, HVAC, and PTACs
- Must have a good understanding of outdoor Pool functions and maintenance
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Experience with Grounds upkeep
- Ability to handle a physically demanding workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Able to use a PC and Tablet
- Must be able to be on-call after hours when needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous Hotel / Apartment experience is a plus
- Great team player / assisting with other departments
