About The Position

You will be the architect of reliability for our Greeneville site. In this role, you aren’t just fixing things; you are building a proactive culture. You will lead our reliability-based maintenance strategy, optimize our CMMS system, and provide the engineering expertise needed to drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • The Mindset: You see past "the way we’ve always done it" to create better solutions. You are comfortable troubleshooting at an advanced level and integrating new technology.
  • Heavy Industry Expertise: You understand the grit of a manufacturing environment—specifically crushing, milling, or thermal processing.
  • Analytical Skills: You can perform "repair vs. replace" value analysis and use data to drive maintenance decisions.
  • Technical Communication: You can effectively coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Leadership: At least 1 year of experience as a maintenance supervisor, planner, or coordinator.
  • Technical Mastery: Strong mechanical and analytical skills with experience supervising maintenance or operations workforces.
  • Willingness to work in a heavy industrial setting (moving parts, dust, noise, and various weather conditions).
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladders for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Up to 10% travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Use Root Cause Analysis and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate repetitive equipment failures and streamline plant operations.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans for preventive/predictive maintenance, critical spare parts, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of daily repairs and capital projects, including contractor management and new equipment integration.
  • Champion the CMMS system to track work orders, document spare parts, and monitor the PM backlog to ensure we stay on schedule.
  • Partner with production and maintenance teams to schedule downtime, manage manpower, and keep overtime within budget.
  • Ensure every repair, redesign, or new installation prioritizes the safety of our team above all else.
