ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans layout and installs wiring, conduit and electrical equipment in buildings. Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit. Troubleshoots Dematic conveying and ASRS systems. Supports project planning and equipment purchases. Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment. Installs distribution and control devices such as circuit-breaker panels, switches, relays, etc. Uses electrical drawings and wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions to diagnose malfunctioning devices such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken components of building installations. Uses electrical drawings and wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions to test malfunctioning machinery. Diagnoses and repairs or replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards and faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches and motors, and positions sensing devices. Communicates with equipment manufacturer as needed. Supports maintenance in diagnosing and repairing faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment. Serves as an electrical SME and ensures plant electrical activities are in compliance with all applicable electrical codes. Completes paperwork as required. Initiates purchase order requests for parts and supplies. In addition to Electrical, works on other aspects of engineering project installations including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc. Supports the Facilities Maintenance team as needed. Completes other maintenance repair work as required and works in areas such as building maintenance. Actively participates in root cause analysis and other plant continuous improvement initiatives. Works closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams to identify trends and areas of improvement and implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, equipment performance, and efficiency. Complies with safety and GMP requirements. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT Supports a culture of safe production and exhibits safe work practices. Actively participates in the safety program by engaging in safety activities. Effectively provides and accepts constructive peer-to-peer feedback on safety performance. Adheres to policies, procedures, SOP’s, safe work practices, and safety policies and procedures. Reports ALL workplace incidents to supervisor immediately. Communicates concerns to supervisor, reports hazards, and provides input on prevention. Properly uses, wears, and stores Personal Protective Equipment when required. Participates on safety teams and/or completes safety-related activities as part of regular job responsibilities.
