2026 Adventure Day Camp Logistics Camp; Maintenance Director
About The Position
The STEM Adventure Day Camp at Camp Garrison is a six-week day camp for youth grades 1-8. The Logistics & Maintenance Director is responsible for keeping the day camp supplies and key facilities operating in a safe and clean manner. W orking with the Day Camp Director and Year-Round Camp Ranger, this person will focus on the day camp operations and help throughout the property as needed. This includes, but is not limited to: - filling water jugs and ice each morning and afternoon - trash clean-up - bathroom cleaning - maintenance of camp program equipment and facilities - grass cutting Critical attributes for the person filling this role include having general handyman knowledge to complete general maintenance and repairs, an attention to detail for both repairs and cleanliness, a friendly and proactive personality, and a strong work ethic.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Become a registered member of the Cradle of Liberty Council, Scouting America by completing the application, Youth Protection Training, and three (3) PA State Background check clearances
- Uphold the principles taught through the Scout Oath and Scout Law
