About The Position

Twin Resources is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization in Springfield, Ohio to identify a Maintenance Coordinator . This role is responsible for coordinating facility and equipment maintenance activities, supporting the development of maintenance personnel, and optimizing the use of CMMS systems. This position blends hands-on technical knowledge with strong organizational and coordination skills to ensure efficient maintenance operations and minimal downtime.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-informed decisions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks, processes, and shifts simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting training and mentoring of maintenance staff
  • Ability to lead by example and support team accountability
  • 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance or maintenance coordination role preferred
  • Flexibility to support after-hours, weekend coverage, and emergency downtime situations
  • Basic knowledge of ISO systems and standards

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to support safety, quality, and 5S standards
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a forward-looking maintenance plan for personnel, equipment, and spare parts
  • Support budget tracking and preparation for maintenance-related expenses
  • Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce downtime
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and cost reduction
  • Maintain and utilize CMMS to track maintenance work, analyze data, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Coordinate maintenance activities across departments and shifts
  • Assist in planning and facilitating training for maintenance personnel
  • Support enforcement of company policies and promote a positive team environment
  • Coordinate overtime scheduling to ensure timely completion of critical repairs and PMs
  • Assist with equipment efficiency improvements and technical skill development initiatives
  • Provide hands-on support for maintenance tasks and projects as needed
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate updates to leadership
  • Coordinate with contractors and verify completion of work per scope and expectations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on maintenance and improvement projects
  • Support spare parts inventory management and accuracy
  • Assist with procurement of parts and equipment per company procedures
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on project execution
  • Utilize systems and software such as Microsoft Office, ERP platforms, and CMMS
  • Participate in meetings and support presentation of maintenance initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to reduce outsourcing costs by leveraging internal capabilities
