About The Position

The Maintenance & Compliance Coordinator is primarily responsible for administration tasks related to the maintenance department. These include building out and monitoring the preventative maintenance schedule and monitoring completed work, ensuring documentation is in compliance with FDA and USDA standards, using a CMMS solution. Additional responsibilities include monitoring spare parts stock and ordering replacements, as well as managing onsite inventory and organization, scheduling vendors, and working with the Quality Assurance (QA) department regarding repairs and documentation ABOUT US Northwest Frozen is a Seattle-based, Founder-led, forward-thinking food manufacturing company, dedicated to redefining the culinary landscape with our innovative approach to food production. Responsibilities

  • Build & Monitor PM Schedules: Develop and track preventative maintenance schedules for production machinery to prevent breakdowns using a CMMS solution (Limble)
  • Work Order Management: Oversee the daily maintenance queue, ensuring all work is scheduled, documented with photos/notes, and closed out.
  • Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation: Become familiar with the production equipment and build an SOP for equipment operators
  • Parts Procurement: Monitor inventory levels for critical spare parts, place orders, and conduct aggressive follow-ups on deliveries to ensure no production delays.
  • Parts Management: Organize and monitor on-site inventory
  • Vendor Relations: Coordinate with third-party repair vendors and contractors, ensuring they meet our facility's safety and quality standards.
  • Audit Readiness: Maintain impeccable records of repairs and sanitation-sensitive maintenance for federal inspections. Work with QA on internal audits, inspections, and assessments to verify compliance with food safety programs
  • Review and maintain equipment documentation
  • Collaborate with production, sanitation, QA, and supply chain teams to ensure food safety controls are effectively implemented
