Position Summary... What you'll do... Key Responsibilities: Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment. Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Complete work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation according to established procedures. Maintain and repair building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting tasks. Operate material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment as required. Assist in the proper usage and disposal of hazardous materials and waste (e.g., cleaning chemicals) in accordance with company policies and procedures. Perform preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on various equipment, such as production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units, and facility grounds. Compliance & Collaboration: Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these standards in daily work. Complete work assignments and priorities by utilizing policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities. The hourly wage range for this position is $27.85 - $34.85 The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
