Assists other maintenance technicians with the repair and maintenance of equipment. Cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment. Completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documentation according to established procedures. Maintains and repairs building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting tasks. Operates material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, moving machinery, and other powered tools as required. Assists with the proper usage and disposal of hazardous materials and waste (e.g., cleaning chemicals) in accordance with company policies and procedures. Performs preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, such as production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units, facilities, and grounds. Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and applying these principles in all business processes and practices. Completes work assignments and priorities by leveraging company policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and information; recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
