About The Position

A. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Perform preventative maintenance duties on equipment per PM Schedule.2. Complete continuous improvement activities on work stations as directed3. Troubleshoot Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical & Mechanical issues4. Record corrective action in maintenance software system.5. Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.6. Record repairs on preventative maintenance forms.7. Provide proper lighting / racking to work areas.8. Other duties assigned. B. Minimum Qualifications 1. Minimum Grade 12.2. Ability to read and write English C. Required Skills 1. Mechanical aptitude & experience with hand tools2. Some machining and some welding.3. Understanding of WHMIS.4. Understanding of Injection machines including auxiliary equipment.5. Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function. 6. Forms, Tags, and Labels governing job function.

Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12.
• Ability to read and write English
• Mechanical aptitude & experience with hand tools
• Some machining and some welding.
• Understanding of WHMIS.
• Understanding of Injection machines including auxiliary equipment.
• Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function.
• Forms, Tags, and Labels governing job function.
