Requirements

• Minimum Grade 12.
• Ability to read and write English
• Mechanical aptitude & experience with hand tools
• Some machining and some welding.
• Understanding of WHMIS.
• Understanding of Injection machines including auxiliary equipment.
• Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function.
• Forms, Tags, and Labels governing job function.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance duties on equipment per PM Schedule.
• Complete continuous improvement activities on work stations as directed
• Troubleshoot Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical & Mechanical issues
• Record corrective action in maintenance software system.
• Identify safety concerns and repair unsafe conditions.
• Record repairs on preventative maintenance forms.
• Provide proper lighting / racking to work areas.
• Other duties assigned.
