About The Position

The Maintenance Assistant (Custodial) assists with the interior and exterior janitorial needs, building maintenance, and ground keeping assignments. This role also involves assisting in moving furniture, equipment, or fixtures as required, and helping with the planting, pruning, fertilizing, and transplanting of flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes.

Requirements

• Knowledge of methods, tools, materials and equipment used in grounds and maintenance work.
• Knowledge of methods and techniques of mowing, edging, pruning and trimming.
• Ability to properly use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and understand labels and directions.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities
