About The Position

Maintenance III - FT Haxtun Health is seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Assistant III to support the safe and efficient operation of our hospital facilities, equipment, vehicles, and grounds. This position plays an integral role in coordinating daily maintenance activities, providing guidance to team members, and performing advanced repairs and system troubleshooting. In this role, you’ll help drive preventative maintenance efforts, respond to complex facility needs, and ensure all work meets safety standards and applicable codes. Starting Pay Range: $25.62/hr – $33.31/hr, depending on experience Position Status: Full-time, non-exempt Shift: Day (participation in on-call rotation) Shift Differentials: Nights = +10% of base wage (after 6pm), Weekends = +15% of base wage Application Deadline: June 23, 2026. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with organizational policy and insurance requirements.

  • Ensures compliance with safety standards and oversees preventative maintenance programs, vendor coordination, documentation, and emergency response, while providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Utilizes strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to prioritize work, maintain facility systems, and support overall operational efficiency and patient care.

  • Retirement Plan: Up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service. New employees are automatically enrolled at a 1% contribution rate (can be opted out). Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested.

  • Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
