Maintenance Apprenticeship Join a company dedicated to developing Maintenance Technicians with no prior experience! This is a fantastic opportunity to participate in a 90-day paid apprenticeship where you are provided training and comprehensive knowledge of the work that goes into multi-family property maintenance. After you have completed the 90-day paid benefit’s eligible apprenticeship, you will begin a permanent position as a Maintenance Technician I. This will come with a $1,000 bonus for successfully completing the apprenticeship and becoming a permanent FRED employee. The two training locations for the apprenticeship will be in Verona and on the east side of Madison. We've been in the industry since 1985 and are growing daily. We have over 38 communities throughout Wisconsin and Illinois with many more in the works, which means the opportunities are endless. We have fantastic opportunities to grow with the company. You’ll be a Tech I with the capability to be promoted to a Tech II, followed by Maintenance Supervisor. If you’re interested in Leadership, the next step is a Regional Maintenance Manager followed by Director of Property Maintenance. The possibilities are endless, and we work tirelessly with our internal teams to train and promote from within. Start Date for Program: Apprentice program will start on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
