Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Maintenance or Physical Plant Experience 0-1 year preferred
• Understand electrical and mechanical fundamentals.
• Familiar with electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Able to read, comprehend and follow instructions when provided written, oral, or diagram forms.
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, drawings and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing maintenance requests and other maintenance.
• Learn how to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, plumbing systems, electrical systems, all major appliances, and other systems.
• Assist with preventative maintenance.
• Participate in conducting inspections and ensuring tracking logs are kept current.
• Experience emergency maintenance procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management.
