Mainline Service Advisor - Tonkin Hillsboro Ford
About The Position
Tonkin Hillsboro Ford has big things planned for 2026 and now is the time to join our ever-growing dealership. We are seeking out an experienced Service Advisor to join our service department. We pride ourselves in our ability to grow and develop our employees – we promote from within all the time! Working as our Service Advisor, your main priority would be communication between the service department and our clients who are either getting their vehicle serviced or scheduling an upcoming service. The ideal candidate would have prior Service Advisory experience at a domestic dealership.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of previous Automotive Advising.
- A desire to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention-to-detail
- Must be willing to work a Tuesday - Saturday schedule
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen, THC not screened for.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.
- Drive the sales of technicians' time to meet the department's sales forecast.
- Prioritize required services and be prepared to provide options upon request.
- Keep customers informed of completion times, service expenses, and possible changes.
- Ensure customers have positive dealership experience.
