About The Position

Rapid City Medical Center is seeking a Mail Runner . This position is responsible for mail room functions including sorting and distribution of mail at the main clinic, as well as the satellite clinics. This position delivers supplies to each of the satellite clinics and the main clinic. Valid driver's license is required for this position. Requirements

  • Valid driver's license is required for this position.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Date, review, and sort mail.
  • Distribute mail within the main clinic and the satellite clinics.
  • Maintain mailroom equipment including postal meters.
  • Loading and unloading of supplies and delivery to satellite clinics.
  • Responsible for picking up labs at various satellite clinics and deliver to internal and external destinations.
  • Following best practices for safety both on the road and while loading and unloading company provided vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
