Shift Schedule Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Position Overview:
The Mail Runner is responsible for the secure, accurate, and traceable transport of mail, packages, and documents throughout airport facilities, including airside locations. This role operates within the Airport Operations Area (AOA) and requires strict compliance with airport regulations, attention to detail, and clear communication to ensure zero loss, misdelivery, or documentation failures.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport badge and AOA driving privileges
• Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and obtain airport badging.
• Comfort operating vehicles near aircraft, ground equipment, and active airport operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable for assigned responsibilities
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Nice To Haves

• Prior airport, courier, logistics, or AOA experience
• Experience with delivery tracking, chain-of-custody, or documentation systems
• Familiarity with regulated or safety-sensitive environments

Responsibilities

• Transport mail, packages, and documents between airport departments, vendors, and designated locations in a timely and secure manner
• Operate company vehicles within the AOA while fully complying with all airport driving rules, safety protocols, and security regulations
• Maintain accurate delivery logs for all items, including sender, recipient, location, date/time, and confirmation of delivery
• Ensure all receipts, proof of delivery, and documentation are returned to the correct individual without delay
• Verify delivery locations and recipients prior to drop-off to prevent errors
• Communicate clearly and professionally with recipients and airport personnel regarding deliveries and pickups
• Immediately report missing items, discrepancies, delays, or damaged materials to leadership
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records of all received and delivered items
• Adhere to all TSA, airport security, and Foxtrot Aviation Services policies
