About The Position

The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. The Mail Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 ensures inventory levels are adequate for dispensing by working with inventory supply team. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Arizona State Board of Pharmacy Technician License
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • High attention to detail with focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work with and around pharmaceutical products.
  • Can work independently as well as with a small group.
  • Ability to walk and stand during an entire work shift.
  • Ability to lift 35lbs occasionally and 25-30lbs frequently.
  • Possess hand strength to grasp and twist items continuously.
  • Ability to reach above the waist and shoulders frequently.
  • Bend, twist and reach frequently.

Nice To Haves

  • National Certification, PTCB, or National Healthcare Association, NHA
  • Experience in a Retail, Mail-order, or hospital Pharmacy.
