About The Position

Job DetailsJob Location: Industrial Valve Manufacturing Legal Address - Broussard, LA 70518Position Type: Full Time Roles & Responsibilities Cooperate with QA/QC personnel to maintain acceptable product quality without unnecessarily diminishing production flow Effectively communicates with supervisor, providing updates on run times, scheduling, and all machine related activities Learn how to edit programs, and make adjustments accordingly Learn all the different tooling that is used to machine all products. Learn all different products JMI manufactures and will continue to learn new things regarding machining Help with running multiple machines if needed Learn how to clock in and out of jobs on the laptops. Over time, will have the opportunity to become first piece inspectors, for others machinists who need a first piece inspection Qualifications High school degree or GED. Associate Degree preferred 2+ years’ experience working with Mazaks Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Must be able to understand how to read prints and measure using Calipers. Programming would be a great asset. Must be reliable, self-motivated, and willing to do whatever is needed. Must be willing to work with others and have a great attitude. Must have the ability to setup and run Mazak machines

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• 2+ years’ experience working with Mazaks
• Must be able to understand how to read prints and measure using Calipers.

Nice To Haves
