About The Position
Leading Plastics Manufacturer is looking for a Machinist Programmer to join their team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating conventional, special purpose, and CNC machines / machining centers to fabricate metallic and non-metallic parts. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of how thermoformed molds are made and how thermoformed plastic parts are formed. Details: - Direct Hire (no contract/temp period) - Monday to Friday - 7am to 3:30pm - $32 to $42 /hr - Milford, CT 06460
Requirements
- CNC and manual machining experience
- Programming experience (Mastercam preferred)
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints
- CNC Tooling
- CNC Programming
- CNC Machine Repair
- G-Code
- CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
- Precision Measurement & Hand Metrology
- Troubleshooting CNC Machines
- Manual Machining Skills
- Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
- Blueprint Reading
