Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities a. Support development of machining strategies (green and finish) and tooling for project Cobalt i. Part design ii. Machining tooling design iii. Machining tool path generation iv. On-machine quality checks v. Raster machining development for aspheric optics vi. Hands-on machining vii. Training machining engineers viii. Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs) Education & Experience Skills Working Conditions Physical Requirements Safety Requirements All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Quality and Environmental Responsibilities Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
