Responsibilities

Support development of machining strategies (green and finish) and tooling for project Cobalt
Part design
Machining tooling design
Machining tool path generation
On-machine quality checks
Raster machining development for aspheric optics
Hands-on machining
Training machining engineers
Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions (WIs)
Follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
