About The Position

Vallorbs, a local manufacturer, is looking for a Machine Operator to operate a variety of machines to make quality parts for the customer. Schedule M-F; 6:00am-3:30pm $16.50/hr to start You will have benefit options such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) with matching, Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Paid Time Off, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Supplemental Life Insurance.

Requirements

Highschool diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and work experience as a Machine Operator preferred
Understanding of tolerances and dimensions
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors
Able to identify inaccuracies in production material and/or processes
Ability to stand for long periods of time during an 8-10 hour shift
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. periodically

Nice To Haves

Mechanical aptitude and work experience as a Machine Operator preferred

Responsibilities

Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Read and interpret basic blueprints and diagrams
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specifications in timely manner
Ensure that the machine is maintained for the highest level of productivity and quality
Perform in-process inspections on components being produced
Complete required logs and shop tracking cards
Ensure proper housekeeping and safety of designated production area
